Here's What It Took.
Most companies talk about AI. We ship it.
This week, we deployed a fully operational AI voice agent on 10x-partners.com. Not a chatbot. Not a FAQ widget. A real-time voice concierge that speaks, listens, navigates our website for you, and captures leads — all without a human in the loop.
Here's what we built and why it matters.
What the Agent Does
Our AI agent sits in the bottom-right corner of every page. Click it, and you're in a live voice conversation with an AI concierge that can:
→ Answer questions about our services, methodology, and case studies — strictly from a curated knowledge base.
→ Navigate the website for you in real-time — mention "enablement" and the page scrolls to the exact section.
→ Capture leads conversationally — it asks your name, invites you to type your email, confirms the details, and pushes them into our CRM.
→ Alert the team the moment a high-intent conversation starts.
No forms. No "please hold." No friction.
How We Built It
The implementation breaks down into three layers that matter:
1. Knowledge Base — What the Agent Knows
An AI agent is only as good as its knowledge. We built an automated extraction pipeline that crawls every page on our website — services, case studies, team bios — and converts them into structured documents. These feed directly into the agent's knowledge base.
The result: the agent answers questions using only verified, up-to-date content from our site. It doesn't hallucinate services we don't offer or invent case studies that don't exist. When it doesn't know something, it says so.
2. System Prompt & Tool Configuration — What the Agent Can Do
The agent's behavior is governed by a precise system prompt that defines its persona, tone, and capabilities. But the real power comes from tool configuration:
→ Navigation tools with an explicit list of 25+ valid paths, including deep-links to specific service sections and individual case studies. The agent can't invent broken URLs — it's constrained to paths that exist.
→ Lead capture tools that the agent calls mid-conversation to push contact information directly into our CRM stack. The agent collects name, email (via text input for accuracy), and interest area before confirming and submitting.
→ Strict behavioral guardrails — conciseness rules, off-topic rejection, and confirmation gates before any data submission.
3. CRM & Team Integration — What Happens After
When someone engages with the agent, two things happen automatically:
- The team is notified in real-time
- When a prospect shares their details, a structured lead record is created in our CRM with name, email, and area of interest
No manual data entry. No missed leads. The agent operates as a 24/7 SDR that never sleeps.
What We Learned
Our hypothesis: voice lowers the engagement barrier. Nobody likes forms. Our bet is that users who would never fill out a contact form might happily share their details through a natural conversation.
Conciseness is non-negotiable. A voice agent that reads paragraphs is worse than no agent at all. We tuned the system prompt aggressively: list names only, let the website do the explaining, navigate don't narrate.
Tool calling reliability depends on the model. Some LLMs "hallucinate" tool use — they say "I've submitted your details" without actually executing the tool. Model selection and prompt engineering matter equally.
Knowledge governance is everything. The agent must be constrained to factual, current content. We automated the knowledge extraction pipeline so the agent's knowledge stays synchronized with the website.
Beyond Palantir — We Build Agents Anywhere
Yes, we're known for Palantir Foundry. It's our core. But the skills that make us dangerous on Foundry — knowledge engineering, system design, tool orchestration, production-grade deployment — translate directly to building AI agents on any stack.
If you're running Foundry, you're sitting on structured ontology objects and action APIs ready for voice-driven interaction. But you don't need Foundry to benefit from this.
The same approach works for:
→ Customer support agents backed by any knowledge base or data platform.
→ Internal helpdesks that navigate complex operational dashboards.
→ Sales assistants pulling live data from CRMs and pipelines.
→ Field service agents that trigger backend actions through voice commands.
→ Website concierges for any business that wants to convert visitors without forms.
If you have data, tools, and users — we can put a voice agent in front of it.
Try It Yourself
Visit 10x-partners.com and click the widget in the bottom-right corner. Ask it about our services. Tell it to show you a case study. Ask to schedule a call.
It's not a demo. It's production.
